The book is a little dry, but, it does paint a clear picture of higher education finance. I bought it because it was required, but I have enjoyed it for the most part.
This book has nothing to say except the same hackneyed rendition of higher education.

This book is an easy read. But with academic literature keep in mind that it is not peer reviewed. While Weisbrod et al. have some valid opinions and bring in some very good discussion points, some of the ideas are flawed. I would not use this book as a course textbook to teach college students about Higher Education Administration.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this well written and easy to read textbook. Clear and concise examples contributed to an excellent reading experience. Also, the companies referenced were timely, relevant, and applicable to the subject matter. An excellent read for anyone in higher education and any other field.
