Interesting and certainly a great history of his hotel developments, but found it odd that nowhere does he thank the developers who made it all possible, who have him and Rubell their start ar Studio 54, Philip Pilevsky and Arthur Cohen, and then who enabled them to do the Morgan and Paramount, the Royalton. Credit should be given where credit is due.
Excellent documentation for his life works. The book was not a disappointment and that is hard to achieve with such a large amount of work.
Very well done. But I was surprised that Schrager participated in so much self praise. I always thought of him as a bit of an introvert.

Amazing!
My husband bought this for me for my brithday. I love interior design books and this is by far one of the best! So if you're wondering why I gave it only 3 stars, it's because the shipping was terrible. This book is huge and heavy! The box it was packed in was small and had no padding around the book at all. The book was free to slide around in transit causing the corners to become badly dinged and damaged. If you want this book, I'd highly suggest buying it from another seller and not amazon since it is an excellent coffee table book. This book is tempting with prime shipping, but it's free for a reason ;-)
